At the undergraduate level, the biology, computer science, mathematics, optical engineering and physics programs all include a Senior Thesis component. Projects that fit this type of work are welcome for submission.

At the graduate level, the following programs include a master's thesis option:

Project Idea Submission

Project proposals can be submitted at any time!

Most thesis projects start in late August, and proposals received before the first day of classes will be included in the upcoming academic year.

Graduate theses can start at any time. Development of a good thesis can take some back and forth communication. Submitting an idea is just the beginning. Defining the thesis may take some time and will involve the student, faculty advisor, and department head.

More About Grad Thesis Projects

Graduate thesis projects typically last for one year and are performed by a single graduate student overseen by a faculty member. Acceptance of a project is dependent upon the availability of graduate students and faculty with an interest in the particular area.
