The vision of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment is to foster a culture of evidence-based continuous improvement and to be recognized as a leader and contributor in institutional research and the assessment of student learning.
We are nationally recognized for excellence in assessing student learning and using the results to guide new policies and practices. Learn more about our award-winning assessment method.
In 2016, we were among just four institutions of higher learning recognized by the Excellence in Assessment (EIA) program for sustained excellence in student learning outcomes assessment. The EIA is sponsored by the Voluntary System of Accountability, a public college and university transparency initiative led by the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities in partnership with the Association of American Colleges & Universities and the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment.
