“We’re looking at Talladega and saying we want a top five and we’re really wanting to be a strong contender for the Rookie of the Year in the ARCA Menards Series,” said Chick, who is pursuing minors in economics and entrepreneurial studies, as well as a master’s degree in engineering management. “The expectations have shifted. Daytona was a huge confidence builder.”

The race will be broadcast live Saturday, April 22, on Fox Sports 1 at 12:30 p.m. EST.

“I’m so excited to be partnered with Rose-Hulman with the main focus of increasing awareness of women and diversity in STEM,” Chick added. “Being an engineering student at Rose-Hulman has incredibly advanced my career. I’ve been able to go back to my team and come up with innovative ideas that I learned in the classroom and can apply to help further the technology on our cars.”
