Steps to Apply

The application for Project SELECT is now open. 

Applying is easy! Just follow these steps:

STEP 1
Fill out the online application. Space is limited.  There is no cost to apply for Project SELECT.

Application Criteria: Project SELECT is open to students during the summer after their freshman and sophomore years of high school. Admission is selective. We look to admit students that have been successful in high school and will be successful at Project SELECT.

 

STEP 2
A recommendation from your counselor or teacher and your high school transcript, which includes your first semester grades of your current year, is required. If you are homeschooled, we require a recommendation from a professor, employer, activity organizer or someone else outside the home. When you fill out your online application, you will add your counselor or teacher who will then receive an email to the recommendation portal to upload your recommendation letter. If your high school is a member of Parchment (formerly Docufide), SCOIR, or Naviance Electronic Transcripts, you may have your materials sent through their service. You can also give the Request for Transcript and Recommendation form to your counselor to be emailed to admissions@rose-hulman.edu.


After Your Application Is Complete:

  • Once your application is approved you will need to submit a $100 deposit to reserve your spot. Project SELECT slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Please do not make any travel arrangements or payments prior to receiving application approval.
  • All Project SELECT notifications will be sent to the student's email address, including information about the application portal and decision and payment details.
