Course Summary

ECE333, Digital Systems, completes your required two-course sequence in digital systems. In ECE130 you learned about combinational logic, flip-flops, and finite state machines, and designed circuits at the gate using manual techniques. ECE333 extends your knowledge of digital systems in three fundamental ways:

bulletHow to design a complete system using a hardware design language (HDL) approach,
bulletHow digital circuits work at the electrical interface level, and
bulletWhat standard building blocks are available

Instructor

Dr. Edward R. Doering
