Chemistry and Biochemistry Students Recognized in Lab Coat Ceremony

Chemistry and biochemistry majors received lab coats upon successful completion of CHEM 291 in a ceremony. Each student was given a professional department lab coat with their name embroidered on it to wear in labs for the remaining years of their major.

Each student was given a professional department lab coat with their name embroidered on it to wear in labs for the remaining years of their major. This is the third year of the lab coat ceremony.
Adam Fucela, Marcos García Sánchez, Ellie Nolte, Jacob Payne, Maya Perez, Jeremy Satterfield, Ruby Stevens, Yujin Sung, Joseph Ulozas, Theodore Waldman, and Colin Wilson received lab coats this year.
CHEM 291, Introduction to Chemical Research, introduces students to skills necessary for conducting chemical research and is reserved for students who are declared as chemistry or biochemistry majors. The lab coat signifies the students' progression into more advanced studies and research within their majors.
