Dr. Micah Taylor’s varied research activities include interactive sound propagation, real-time ray tracing, and visibility and rendering. He is listed as co-inventor on three recently issued patents on methods and systems for direct-to-indirect acoustic radiance transfer, split client-server reverberation processing, and readable media for fast geometric sound propagation. A Rose-Hulman alumnus, he also advises the campus’ eSports Club.
