Dr. David Purdy is an expert in controls, modeling/simulation and dynamics. His research activities cover applied controls. Dr. Purdy is a Dean͛s Outstanding Teacher Award recipient and formerly served as head of the department. He has previously worked as an engineer in the transmission electronics department for Ford Motor Company.
