Dr. Dan Marincel specializes in materials research and development, with past work in piezoelectric thin films and boron nitride nanotubes. He teaches courses associated with Rose-Hulman’s Micro-Nano Device and Systems lab focused on micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), nanomaterials, and semiconductors. Dr. Marincel is a member of the Materials Research Society and is a reviewer for Applied Physics Letters, the Journal of the American Ceramic Society, and the Journal of Materials Research. He is also an avid outdoorsman, always searching for materials science in nature while hiking, camping, climbing, and orienteering.
