Dr. Nathan Chenette specializes in the mathematical side of computer science, including algorithms, discrete math, and cryptography. He has published influential research in the field of searchable encryption. Dr. Chenette frequently works for the federal government on problems related to national security. In his spare time, Dr. Chenette enjoys endurance sports such as cycling, running, and triathlon.
