Rose-Hulman welcomes the FIRST Indiana Robotics State Championship

Rose-Hulman welcomes the FIRST Indiana Robotics competition back to campus. The Crossroads Regional was held on campus in spring 2013 and 2014 and now the school will host the FIRST Indiana Robotics State Championship April 14-16, 2022 in the Student Sports and Recreation Center.

The 32 teams that have excelled at District events will arrive on Rose-Hulman’s campus to compete for a coveted spot to Nationals.

FOOD TRUCKS FOR PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS

A number of food trucks will be on the Rose-Hulman campus during the First Robotics state finals, Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Team Dinner and Social

Please plan to join us for a team social to be held in the Vonderschmitt Dining Hall, Friday, April 15, 2022. Guests will have the opportunity to eat a buffet dinner prepared by our campus food service, Bon Appetit. Cost is $10.00 per person and you can pay online when registering or with a credit/debit card at the event. We apologize, but NO CASH will be accepted by dining services.

Dinner will be followed by a special showing of "More Than Robots", a documentary that follows four teams of teenagers from around the world as they prepare for the 2020 FIRST Robotics Competition. The film will be shown in the Hatfield Hall Theater at 9 p.m. Admission is free and all are welcome!

FIRST Robotics Ready to Kick Off Crossroads Regional

Inventor Dean Kamen will launch the 2013 season of the FIRST Robotics Competition on Saturday, January 5, with a worldwide kickoff event that announces details of the robotics competition game that will be featured at the new Crossroads Regional, hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and the city of Terre Haute on April 4-6.
