Design and construct an electrical arc system to fabricate Fiber Gratings for 1320 nm single-mode fiber.  Test Fiber Gratings as attenuators/filters for the construction of TTD arrays.  Design and construct the high voltage circuitry with proper timing.  Construct and test a dual-axis translation stage for coarse and fine fiber displacement.
