Around means that if the door is open I'm in or around my office and expect to be back soon. Please come in and wait for my return. However, if the door is closed, I'm in a meeting or otherwise occupied, and do not expect to back that soon. You can try knocking, I may be in and working. If no answer, either leave a message on the door or come back later. Office/Around means that I expect to be in and around the office. Not Available means that I am either at a meeting, picking up my son, or otherwise engaged, and most importantly probably not on campus
