The world’s most famous party guest will again be turning heads and raising eyebrows when the Russian National Ballet Theatre presents Cinderella at Rose-Hulman’s Hatfield Hall on January 10.

Accompanied by Prokofiev’s enchanting musical score, Russia’s finest dancers bring classical ballet back to the Wabash Valley with their performance of one of the most timeless and best-loved fairy tales of all time.

Cinderella, a sweet but mistreated servant girl is excluded by her catty stepsisters and wicked stepmother from a royal ball only to have her fairy godmother grant her wish to attend. Things get complicated at midnight, however, when Cinderella flees the ball just before her gown returns to rags. Only her glass slipper remains behind, leaving the handsome prince the one clue he needs to track down the mysterious object of his love.
