What is Ultimate?

Ultimate is a disc sport played like football -- you must throw the disc upfield to advance, and score in an endzone. The caveat? Once the disc is caught the thower cannot move. Ultimate is one of the fastest growing team sports in the United States. Futhermore, Ultimate embraces a "Spirit of the Game", where every game is self-officiated.

Ultimate is a unique sport that pulls skills from all other althletic realms making it extremely fun to play.

Consider joining us for one of our practices. Most of our players had never played Ulimate before coming to Rose; however, they found it to be lots of fun, great excercise, and a great way to get your mind off schoolwork.

Who do you play?

Our team plays in collegiate tournaments sponsored by USA Ultimate, all around the Midwest. The sanctioned season is in the spring, but we play tournaments both fall and spring to be ready for end of the year championship play. In the post-season, we play D-III, however, throughout the year it is not uncommon for us to compete againt D-I teams.

Practices are held regularly year-round at the IM fields and Bonfire Fields. Check out the schedule or contact our captain for information.
