33120A: Importing Waveform Data
Home ] Up ]

Overview

Agilent IntuiLink software provides data interconnectivity between the various Agilent instruments. IntuiLink for the 33120A includes the Waveform Editor application. The Waveform Editor can be used to interactively design waveforms or to read waveform data from a .CSV (comma-separated values) file, and then download the waveform into the 33120A.

Please note the following:

The 33120A can store at most 16,000 samples for a user-defined waveform
When playing a user-defined waveform, the frequency setting on the 33120A indicates the frequency at which the entire waveform is repeated. To achieve a desired waveform sampling frequency fs, set the 33120A frequency to fs divided by the number of samples in your waveform. Alternatively, if you know that your waveform has duration T seconds, use the reciprocal of this value (1/T) as the 33120A frequency setting.
