Homework 3

1. Do the software installation described in Homework 0 if you have not already done so.
2. Complete HelloWorld if you have not already done so.
3. Do the following reading, and bring any questions about it to class:
   • Sections 3.1 through 3.7 of Chapter 3, and Sections 4.1 through 4.7 of Chapter 4.
     • As you reach each Self Check problem at the end of each section, do the Self Check problem (in your head, no need to write anything down) and check your answer versus the answers at the end of the chapter.

   Note: You will eventually have a quiz on this reading, so DO IT NOW!

4. Complete HelloWorldAgain, if you have not already done so.
   • Don't get stuck on any part of this exercise — just bring your questions to class or (better) to the student assistants during lab hours.
5. Continue working on the WordGames project.
   • Strive to complete all the classes through and including SlowThinker.
   • You should be able to do the test cases for all the classes, even if you cannot get the code right yet.
   • Don't get stuck on any part of this exercise — just bring your questions to class.
   • A great time and place to work on this project is in the CSSE lab (F-217) during lab hours, when student assistants are there to help you!
   • We'll continue WordGames during class at our next session.
