Course Descriptions

Air Force ROTC is designed as a four year training program that culminates in a student's becoming an Officer in the United States Air Force. This program is designed to run concurrently with the four year college curriculum and is open to all college students at no obligation.* We also offer modified programs which can be completed in three or two years which also earn a commission in the Air Force. Once students have completed Air Force ROTC and college requirements they are off to serve at least the next four years in leadership positions throughout the Air Force.

AS 401 - National Security and Preparation for Active Duty I

This course is designed for college seniors and provides them the foundation to understand their role as military officers and how they are directly tied to our National Security Strategy. It is an overview of the complex social and political issues facing the military profession and requires a measure of sophistication commensurate with the senior college level.
