Student Employment

Working on campus can be a great way to become more involved, meet new people and make college more affordable.

At Rose-Hulman, more than half of all students participate in the Federal Work Study or Rose-Hulman Work Opportunity programs, making their college experience more affordable, learning new things and meeting new people.

Federal and Rose-Hulman Work Study

These programs provide jobs for undergraduates with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help cover education expenses. Often the types of jobs that qualify for the programs include community service and have flexible schedules so they don't disrupt your academic schedule. Students wanting to earn the full amount of a typical award must work an average of eight hours per week over the course of the academic year.
