Continuing and Professional Studies for Individuals

Collaboration is at the cornerstone of what we do at Rose-Hulman Continuing and Professional Studies. We work with individuals and industry to develop programs that are relevant to today’s professionals.

A recent example:

Ethics and Indiana Statutes and Rules

Rose-Hulman and Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP offer a two-hour course to meet the ethics and statutes requirements for Indiana Professional Engineers. In August 2010, state legislation passed the Continuing Education Rule, requiring Indiana professional engineers possessing active certificates to complete:

  • Thirty (30) hours of continuing education which meets the requirements of Indiana Code 25-1-4 in order to renew a professional engineer registration;
  • At least one (1) hour of continuing education each biennium in ethics applicable to the practice of professional engineering and:
  • At least one (1) hour of the continuing education each biennium in Indiana Statutes and Rules applicable to the practice of professional engineering.

The course is certified by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) to provide 1.0 PDH on engineering ethics and 1.0 PDH on statutes and rules applicable to professional engineering.
