Our old TV busted, so we had to get a bigger one! This is a 4ft bookcase that is 14 1/2" deep so as to accomodate the stereo equipment. As such it stands out from the bookcases, giving the row of books cases some texture. The bookcase is made from poplar and clear coated with polyurethane. I took great pains in applying what I have learned over the year's to ensure fine workmanship on this stand.
