This is an antique dining room table. It is made from quarter sawn white oak. The base is not original. When I bought it, the base was stained in a rather ugly color and the feet were falling apart. I disassembled each of the feet into their three parts, sanded them down, and glued them back together. I also streamlined the center post. Finally, I stained and clear coated the base, attempting to match the color of the top as close as possible.New tools used:
- Mixed stains
- Polyurethane mallet
- More clamps
