Red Oak Porch Swing

I always wanted to live in a house with a good front porch, and what is a front porch without a good swing! This swing is made from red oak and finished with linseed oil. I patterned it, literally, after the following swings available for sale. Their swings are an excellent deal; I spent that much money in materials alone. These are very sturdy porch swings. One of the hooks holding the swing broke while my honey and I were enjoying a swing. No serious injuries were to be reported. Oh, the swing merely got a scratch, it didn't even creak.
