In the picture, you see a #0000 Shaker Oval Box I made in the fall of 2005. I used to think that this is the smallest Shaker Box ever made. This is not true as the old master himself, John Wilson made one of just the same size, as is documented on the front page of the January 2006 Lee Valley and Veritas Tool catalog. I since have seen that box, while taking part in an advanced box making course at his shop.Click here for a comparison to the size of a coffee mug.
