This dresser started out as an entertainment center. I gutted it and removed the back. I added a new back from 1/4 plywood and nailed and glued it in to significantly improve the dresser's sturdiness. I painted the dresser bluw and I purchased and installed new stainless steel hinges as well as door knobs. I was sruprising to me what a coat of paint and some sprucing up can do to a piece of furniture.
