Dictionary Stand

I used to do some woodworking when I was a teenager, building an assortment of wooden swords, shields, lances and even a trailer for my bike. Here is the first project in recent memory. I bought this dictionary stand, including lamp and the dictionary from the 40's for $50 at a used bookstore. It was painted in a chocolate brown. I stripped the paint, hand-sanded some remaining paint and clearcoated it.
