These are some of the kitchen cabinets I built. The boxes are constructed from plywood and screwed to each other as well as the wall studs. The face frame is made from soft maple, so are the drawer fronts. The remainder of the drawers are made from poplar. For smooth opening and closing, I used center-mounted Accuride drawer slides. The face frame and the drawer fronts are finished with three coats of Watco Satin Wipe-On Poly and a coat of wax.
