Well, not a lot of blacksmithing or woodworking going on here. I purchased the Cocobolo handles on eBay, they are Lie-Nielsen old stock. I like the shape of them. I fitted the copper ferrules and installed the steel. To ensure the round steel does not twist out, I fitted dowel rods and step drilled them. I ground one of the steel ends to a square taper and epoxied them into the handles. I then polished the 416 stainless steel to 1000 grit. I love that mirror finish.
