Kenny Dettmer and myself made this candle holder from 18" of 1/2" round stock. We made it as part of a forging contest that took place during the 2008 Conference of the Indiana Blacksmithing Association. We had half an hour to make a candle-holder. Our work was good enough to get us second place, which is not bad, given that the first place winners are professional blacksmiths.
