I made this holdfast from an old tire iron. It fits into the pritchel hole and is an excellent tool for holding things on the anvil, say for punching. Due to the spring action, it does not shake loose when pounding on the item to be held. I learned about this tool from the book "Just an Idea" by Les Stanley.
