Making of Optical Fiber Delay Lines with Specific Dimensions

Design and construct improved sets of four optical fiber delay lines for existing 1310 nm and 1550 nm WOMBAt systems. This involves accurately measuring the positions of fiber Bragg gratings in lengths of fiber, cutting and splicing fibers containing fiber Bragg gratings, and accurately measuring the delay of the resulting delay lines.
