The Rigormeter

The setting on the Rigormeter (TM) determines the level of mathematical
rigor that will prevail in a math class on any given day. Guidelines
are roughly as follows:

0 = Unjustifed claims, proofs by assertion or intimidation.

2 = Reform calculus text.

5 = Typical junior or senior level math course.

10 = Real Analysis. Also includes Number Theory when taught by Rickert.
