Overview
Agilent IntuiLink software provides data interconnectivity between the
various Agilent instruments. IntuiLink for the 54622D is implemented as a
toolbar in both Excel and Word. The instructions below will focus on Excel.
Step 1: Start IntuiLink
| Select "Start | Programs | Agilent Intuilink | 54600 | Excel 54600
Toolbar", or |
| If already in Excel, select "Tools | Add-Ins... ", then check
the "Agilent IntuiLink 54600 Scope Toolbar" option |
Step 2: Establish connection to 54622D
| Click the "Connect to Scope" icon
on the toolbar |
| Select the 34401A and click the "Connect" buttons (you may need
to follow an additional procedure to identify the instrument on the bus) |
Step 3: Collect measurement(s)
| You can collect a single measurement by selecting a cell, then clicking
the "Get Single Measurement" icon
on the toolbar . You can select from a variety of waveform summary measures
such as average value, frequency, etc. |
| You can collect a screenshot of the oscilloscope by selecting the
"Get Screen Image" icon . You
have the option of saving to an Excel worksheet or to a bitmap file. You can
also collect a screen shot directly to the 54622D floppy disk drive by
pressing the "Quick Print" button on the oscilloscope front panel. |
| You can collect data directly into the spreadsheet columns by selecting
the "Get Waveform Data Icon" .
Note that you are limited to a maximum of 2000 samples, which is less than
the samples actually stored in the oscilloscope. |
Step 4: Export your measurements
| Once your data is in the Excel worksheet, you can copy/paste to other
applications as needed, or you can save the worksheet. |
