Overview
Agilent IntuiLink software provides data interconnectivity between the various Agilent instruments. IntuiLink for the 34401A is implemented as a toolbar in both Excel and Word. The instructions below will focus on Excel.
Step 1: Start IntuiLink
 | Select "Start | Programs | Agilent Intuilink | Multimeter | Start Excel Toolbar Add In", or |
| If already in Excel, select "Tools | Add-Ins... ", then check the "Agilent Multimeter Toolbar" option |
Step 2: Establish connection to 34401A
| Click the "Connect to Multimeter" icon on the toolbar |
| Select the 34401A and click the "Connect" buttons (you may need to follow an additional procedure to identify the instrument on the bus) |
Step 3: Collect measurement(s)
| You can collect a single measurement by selecting a cell, then clicking the "Get Single Reading" icon on the toolbar |
| You can collect a sequence of measurements (data logging) by clicking the "Setup/Run Data Logging Worksheet" |
Step 4: Export your measurements
| Once your data is in the Excel worksheet, you can copy/paste to other applications as needed, or you can save the worksheet. |
