CSSE 220: Exam Information
Final Exam
- The final will take place on Monday, November 15 from 6pm to
10pm in G 310.
- The final will focus on the materials from days 19 to 30, however
there will be some questions of a comprehensive nature.
- Some of day 30 will be spent on review.
- The rules for the final exam are the same as those for the first
and second:
- You must NOT use ANY forms of communication.
- Disable all chat tools (IM, ICQ, etc) before the exam starts!
- For the first six problems, you may not run any Java programs on
your computer. In particular, you may not open Eclipse. If you
need to look at code, use WordPad, NotePad, or some other text editor.
- You have 4 hours to complete the exam. The exam will be sligthly
longer than the prior two exams. I do not intend to make it last four
hours.
- The code you provide should follow good style and should be
efficient. Due to time constraints, you do not have to comment your
code.
Exam 2
- Exam 2 will take place on day 21, i.e. Friday October 22,
during class time.
- Exam 2 will focus on the materials from days 11 to 18.
- Some of day 20 will be spent on review.
- The rules for the second exam are the same as those for the first:
- You must NOT use ANY forms of communication.
- Disable all chat tools (IM, ICQ, etc) before the exam starts!
- For the first six problems, you may not run any Java programs on
your computer. In particular, you may not open Eclipse. If you
need to look at code, use WordPad, NotePad, or some other text editor.
- You have 105 minutes to complete the exam.
- The code you provide should follow good style and should be
efficient. Due to time constraints, you do not have to comment your
code.
Exam 1
- Exam 1 will take place during day 12, i.e. Wednesday September 29,
during class time.
- Exam 1 will cover the materials from days 1 to 10.
- Some of day 11 will be spent on review.
