making sure that you UNDERSTAND your solutions and can apply the concepts to other problems.

Practice for the Exam 1 Paper-and-Pencil Problems, checking your answers at this
online answer key.

It is best if you get a classmate or friend to check your answerrs,
so that if you get a problem wrong on the first try, you can continue to work on it as appropriate.

Note especially problems 7, 15, 16, 20, 21, 23, 24, 27, 32 and 33.
Past exams have often included problems like those.
