Introduction to Software Development (with robotics)
Session 21 Preparation — Videos, Reading and Quizzes

Videos and Exercises:

Do the following IN-CLASS, per instructions you will get when class begins.

  1. Say Hello to your teammates. See who is online. Watch for the others to join later in the session.
  2. Watch this video on Sharing DATA with Teammates and do what the video says to do.
  3. If you have not already done so, go to your Trello board and fill in what Features you plan to do for Sprints 1, 2 and 3. Coordinate with teammates so that no two of you do the same thing. The card(s) for Sprint 1 should be reasonably detailed in describing the Feature(s). The cards for Sprints 2 and 3 can be only loose descriptions, but fill in NOW your best guesses for what you want to do for those Sprints. In doing all this, you might want to look back at any of:
  4. Checkout the new project that you will find in your INDIVIDUAL repository. It has examples of robot code. I will supply more information tomorrow about how to run the robots, but study the examples so that you are ready. ASK QUESTIONS in class!
  5. Work on your Sprint 1 Feature(s). They are due at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, Terre Haute time. They can be VERY simple and you can probably test them in SIMULATE mode. If not, talk to me and we'll adjust the deadline for you as needed.
  6. Arrange to meet with your team online just about every day from here to the end of the term. The meetings should be VERY BRIEF. Just ask each other if all is going OK, and help each other as necessary if someone is having troubles. Don't do anyone's work for them! Just help them LEARN.
