Session 15 Preparation

Videos and Reading:

All of the following are required except items labeled Optional are, well, optional (i.e., things that may be interesting but do not directly pertain to your success in this course).

Reminder:

Your goal is to understand the exercises that you do, not merely to “get them done.”

Be sure that you completely understand all the work that you turn in.
Make good use of the many resources available to you:
- In-class help.
- The Piazza site for asking questions and seeing answers: piazza.com/rose-hulman/spring2016/csse120/home
- Out-of-class help from your instructor and/or the Learning Center.
- Out-of-class help from another student who is knowledgeable AND knows how to help you LEARN (as opposed to merely helping you complete the problem).
- The videos, readings and quizzes.
- And more.
Work efficiently. For most problems, if you are still working on the problem after 10 minutes on that problem:
- STOP working on that problem.
- Continue to the next problem.
- At the next class session (or sooner), ask for help on the problem(s) that you did not complete.
