Videos and Reading:
All of the following are required except items
labeled Optional are, well, optional (i.e., things
that may be interesting but do not directly pertain to your success in this
course).
There are NO robot questions on the test.
Important :
See details to the left
for the Format and rules for Test 2.
For Professor Mutchler's sections:
You really, really, really should do at least the following to prepare for Test 2:
From Session15_Test2Practice:
practice_problem1a (this is a superb, super-important problem )
practice_problem2
Enough of practice_problem3 that you feel comfortable with looping through
sequences
to do various things
Some of the practice_problem3 problems are quite challenging.
Don't get stuck on any of those problems (or on any other practice problems, really).
Instead, post a question to Piazza or arrange to see me (Mutchler) or a reliable
student.
All of the paper-and-pencil practice problems (see below).
If you don't have time to do all of them,
at least do the box-and-pointer problem (#23).
If you have NOT done the above before you take Test 2,
you should let me know, then take the test as planned;
furthermore,
if you have questions about any of the Test 2 problems after the test,
the first thing that I will say to you is
“complete the above problems, then I am happy to help you out.”
For Professor Galluzzi's section: Completion of Session 15 and
the paper-and-pencil problems on this page are recommended as they prepare you for the test.
However, you may take Test 2 even if they are not completed.
If you have any questions about the following documents/instructions,
ask your instructor about them BEFORE you begin Test 2.

Honesty Pledge
Read this
Honesty Pledge
that you will complete and turn in at the end of the test.
Practice Problems for the Paper-and-Pencil part
If you have not already done so,
do these Practice
for Paper and Pencil problems .
In case the above Microsoft Word document gives you troubles,
here is a PDF
of those same Practice for Paper and Pencil problems.
AFTER (!) doing the above problems,
check your answers to the problems
via the

to those problems.
Come to the OPTIONAL class session on Tuesday.
If you have not completed all the required/recommended exercises,
this is by far the best time to work on them.
