Session 14 Preparation — Videos, Reading and Quizzes

Your goal is to understand the exercises that you do, not merely to “get them done.”

Be sure that you completely understand all the work that you turn in.
Make good use of the many resources available to you:
- In-class help.
- The Piazza site for asking questions and seeing answers: piazza.com/rose-hulman/winter2016/csse120/home
- Out-of-class help from your instructor and/or the Learning Center.
- Out-of-class help from another student who is knowledgeable AND knows how to help you LEARN (as opposed to merely helping you complete the problem).
- The videos, readings and quizzes.
- And more.
Work efficiently. For most problems, if you are still working on the problem after 10 minutes on that problem:
- STOP working on that problem.
- Continue to the next problem.
- At the next class session (or sooner), ask for help on the problem(s) that you did not complete.

There is no preparation and no quiz for Session 14, as that session will be a robotics session that reinforces concepts that you have been studying.
