  • You must complete these before taking the Paper-and-Pencil part of Exam 2.
  • You must also check your own answers (see link below).
  • They form part of your Admission Ticket for Exam 2.

  • Start at the 10:00 mark of the video (ignore the video's contents up to that point).
  • Of course, check the answers AFTER (!) doing the problems. To do otherwise would only harm your learning. Note: The answer to Question 4 appears out of order; its answer is at the END of the video.
  • You demonstrate that you have completed your Admission Ticket by submitting your solutions to Moodle in the usual way (in Session 13 for the On-the-Computer practice problems and Session 14 for these Paper-and-Pencil practice peroblems).
  • If the time for the exam arrives and you have NOT completed your Admission Ticket, ask your instructor what to do.

• Remember to prepare a 2-page "Hint Sheet" (8.5 x 11, one-sided, with whatever you want on it, typed or hand-written) for the Paper-and-Pencil part of the exam.

• OPTIONALLY, do these Additional Practice Paper-and-Pencil Problems

  • Problems 3-5, 11-14, and 17-18 are EXCELLENT practice problems. We recommend that you do them, even though they are optional.
  • There is an Answer Key to the above problems. Check your own answers.
  • You do NOT need to turn these in, if you choose to do them.
