Tunable Fiber Bragg Grating Filter team

Tunable Fiber Bragg grating filters have a wide application field in signal processing. The Bragg grating central peak can be shifted by applying temperature variation or mechanical stress to the fiber. The prospective goal of this team is to design and construct tunable Bragg grating filters using both methods. Measurements of the range of tuning and eventual changes in the parameters of the fiber such as reflectivity, bandwidth, and distortion in the spectrum will be measured.
