True-Time Delay Packaging team

The prospective goal of this team is to design and construct fiber-optic packages to mount 1550 nm three-port circulators and 1x2 optical switches. Optical switches must be paired up such that they could be configured in both Binary (as 2X2 switch) and Ternary (as 1x3 or 3x1 switch) TTD. A Generic Array Logic (GAL) device should provide time sequence to control fiber-optic switches of beamformer.
