Just the Right Tenor: Since its crowd-pleasing debut on NBC’s America’s Got Talent in 2010, The Texas Tenors has performed in concert halls throughout America and in an award-winning show in Branson, Mo.

The award-winning vocal group The Texas Tenors will give its own musical twists to several holiday seasonal favorites in a “Deep in the Heart of Christmas” show coming to the Hatfield Hall Theater on Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

Since its debut in 2010 on NBC’s America’s Got Talent show, The Texas Tenors has racked up an impressive list of awards and honors. A PBS special “You Should Dream” aired on stations across the country, and the trio has garnered three Emmy awards and been among Billboard’s top 10 classical recording artists.

“The Texas Tenors are excellent showmen who sing in a variety of styles and harmonize beautifully; it is no wonder they play to packed houses across the country,” says Dan Tryon, Hatfield Hall’s director of performing arts.

Members of the group include Marcus Collins (“The Contemporary Tenor”), John Hagen (“The Tenor”) and JC Fisher (“The Romantic Tenor”). Individually, each singer has an impressive resume that includes appearances in numerous Broadway shows and with symphony orchestras throughout the United States. Each member brings a unique background and style that creates the trio’s signature sound of smooth, soaring vocals combined with a warm and engaging stage presence.

Together, The Texas Tenors have performed more than 1,000 concerts around the world and have collaborated with several prestigious symphonies to perform at arts centers through America. The group has been named Vocal Group of the Year for its show in Branson, Mo.

Tickets for the “Deep in the Heart of Christmas” show are $35 for adults and $29 for youths, and are available online at hatfieldhall.com, by phone at 812-877-8544, or at the Hatfield Hall ticket desk Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 90 minutes before the show.
