Alumnus Robert Conroy Appointed Vice President of Regulations & Rates for Kentucky Utilities

Electrical engineering alumnus Robert M. Conroy has been named vice president of state regulations and rates for Louisville Gas and Electric Company (LG&E) and Kentucky Utilities Company.
On February 1, Conroy will become responsible for development and implementation of both companies’ state regulatory strategy. This includes maintaining compliance with applicable statutes and regulations at the state and local levels and managing rates and regulatory function.
Conroy, a LG&E employee since graduating from Rose-Hulman in 1987, has directed and managed company rates since March 2004. He previously had manager and system planning analyst positions in electric generation for the company.
He earned a master of business administration degree from Indiana University Southeast. He has a professional engineer’s license in Kentucky.
LG&E and Kentucky Utilities Company are regulated utilities serving 1.7 million electric and natural gas customers in Louisville, 77 Kentucky counties, and five counties in Virginia.
