Survey Shows Rose-Hulman Has Top Return on Investment

A new national survey lists Rose-Hulman near the top among colleges providing graduates with the best return on their investment.'s new College Education Return On Investment Rankings puts Rose-Hulman at No. 12 on the list, with students receiving a bachelor’s degree averaging approximately $1,354,000 (after subtracting  college costs) over the next three decades.

Rose-Hulman ranks above Harvard University (No. 14), $1,334,000; Dartmouth College (No. 19), $1,262,000; Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (No. 21), $1,254,000; University of Notre Dame (No. 23), $1,250,000; and Princeton University (No. 24), $1,234,000.

PayScale’s 2013 survey of starting salaries ranked Rose-Hulman No. 10 with graduates earning $62,300—$11,600 more than Harvard University ($50,700).
