Insurance & Health

We require all exchange students to be enrolled in an insurance plan provided by Rose-Hulman. Our plan meets the U.S. government’s insurance requirements for the J-1 exchange program. Enrollment in the plan is mandatory. Students will be charged the applicable fee on their Rose-Hulman student invoice. To learn more about the coverage, as well as fees/costs, please visit EIIA.org, click on student insurance, and enter Rose-Hulman in the search field.

Immunization Records and Health Services

The forms are available to download on the Health Services Forms website. Once you have completed all the forms, please send them to healthservices@rose-hulman.edu.

Selecting & Registering for Classes

When you arrive on campus, you will meet your department chairperson in your major area of study. He or she will serve as your academic advisor during your time at Rose-Hulman. Your advisor will review your course selections and help you register for your courses.

To find courses, you will need to visit our Course Catalog, where you will find descriptions of all the courses we offer.

Not all courses are offered at all times, so it is important to understand the labeling system behind each course title. This sample diagram shows the labeling system.
